Hi , Jacob. Great video. I was wondering do you use the BLUE protocol, described in “Lung ultrasound in the critically ill”, in the setting of differentiating acute dyspnea. Do you routinely scan the legs with compression US when suspecting PTE.
I don’t routinely follow the BLUE protocol unless my patient is truly undifferentiated. If I think the legs are a good thing to look for if you have a high enough pre-test probability of the patient having a PE.
